We are currently hiring full-time, Door-to-Door sales people in the Birmingham, Al area to sell our full suite of residential communications and TV services. This is a direct sales position and we are seeking aggressive individuals who have the drive to exceed sales targets and are looking for career advancement opportunities. 

We are seeking focused sales professionals who are motivated, energetic and driven to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Successful applicants will sell AT&T services door-to-door to residential customers and will experience tremendous earning potential based on performance. Previous Door-to-Door, Cable or Telecom sales experience is highly desired, but not required. Qualified candidates must be available to work Monday-Friday until 8 p.m. as well as Saturdays. They must also possess reliable transportation and a valid drivers license. 

Job Responsibilities:
Sell AT&T residential communications and TV services door-to-door in assigned
neighborhoods.
Meet or exceed minimum sales goals daily.
Organize time productively.
Place orders efficiently and effectively on behalf of customer.

Skills/Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills.
The ability to succeed in a highly dynamic sales environment.

Highly Desirable:
3+ years sales experience.
Previous door-to-door or field sales experience.
Previous commission-based sales experience.
Secondary language skills.
TV or Telecom Sales experience.
Be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Possess a valid drivers license and proof of Insurance with reliable transportation.
Have satisfactory results from a background/employment history investigation,
driving record check and drug screen.

 

  • Maintaining and building relationships with apartment complexes and DSLD management teams.
  • Gathering leads from apartment complexes.
  • Scheduling and attending lead generating events at apartment complexes.
  • Contracting new apartment complexes into our lead program.
  • Visiting apartment complexes and delivering payouts monthly.
  • Gathering monthly projected mover data.
  • Selling ATT wire line and wireless products.
  • Keeping current with Uverse and DTV rate plans and promotions.
  • Resolving customer service issues.
  • Submitting Daily Visit status reports.
  • Supervising a team of Door to door sellers
  • Scheduling Door to Door events.
