Working as a Sales Executive in our Connected Communities division, you will be responsible for acquiring new residential customers within an assigned geographic area.
You will follow up with potential customers over the phone and review their current telecommunication preferences with the intent to sell AT&T U-Verse services.

This is a highly transactional position where you will be calling on 30 to 40 customers per day. You will receive referrals for a specific geographic area, from customers who have asked to hear from us and are ready to purchase our products & services.

After securing the customers decision for a service, you will be responsible for order placement through our point of sale software.

You will be trained to help sell AT&T's full line of U-Verse products.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year previous sales experience
  • Sales skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to organize and plan time effectively
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check and substance abuse testing
  • Ability to clear a driver's license check
  • Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, occasional overtime

 Once trained, you will be expected to:

  • Have a knowledge of U-verse TV, Internet, and Home Phone products
  • Ability to finalize sales over the phone (preferably on the first call)
  • Ability to maintain a healthy relationship with Leasing Agents and Apartment Management in order to cultivate and compete referrals
  • Answer the phone, receive an email, Call a referral = Done!
